Build facts • 30 September 2025 was the first live month-end on two inventory apps built in Replit, so the comparison is real. • The prior approach took six full days before we could start the next month, which meant a week of drag for the team. • The new system took about three hours end to end...yes, hours, not days! • I built the apps over the last few months and used them together for real-world work, so this reflects real-world use. • Roughly five-plus days of team time are now freed, which means more time spent making money, not counting it.
What changed • I moved the month end stock take into two apps, so the workflow lives where the work happens. • I compared the full start to finish time against the old approach, then kept the better one. • The expectation is now people use the saved time on generating revenue, not more admin. • I shipped for a real deadline, month end, rather than a demo.
