PRICING
Clear pricing for training, builds and support
Training has a clear session price. Bespoke software is scoped around the required outcome before work begins, while the published hourly rate remains available for small, well-defined changes. Ongoing support is optional.
In-person AI training: £2,500
A six-hour session delivered at your office for a team that wants to work practically with AI. I tailor the content to your industry and priorities, combine explanation with live exercises and give participants time to build and test. The focus can include Replit application development, ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM and Google AI Studio.
- Six-hour session at your office
- Tailored content for your industry and team
- Live exercises with real-time feedback
- Working prototype where Replit is included
Online AI training: £1,800
A six-hour interactive session delivered through Microsoft Teams. It is designed for distributed or remote-first teams and uses shared workspaces so participants can work through the exercises together. The content is still shaped around your needs rather than delivered as a fixed webinar.
- Six-hour Microsoft Teams session
- Suitable for distributed UK teams
- Interactive shared workspaces
- Practical exercises and working output
Bespoke software: scoped before work begins
A production application is scoped around its users, data, integrations and risks rather than sold as a block of generic hours. I clarify the likely route and provide a sensible first stage before a larger commitment. For small, well-defined additions or technical work, the current ad-hoc engineering rate is £500 per hour, excluding VAT.
Monthly support: £3,000 per month
The monthly option is £3,000 per month, excluding VAT, for up to six hours. It provides priority access for ongoing support, iterative improvements and new features across active builds. Unused time can roll over, and the arrangement can be paused with 30 days' notice. It is designed for clients who have continuing work, not as a requirement for every project.
What affects the scope
A small internal tool, a customer portal and a business-critical platform need different levels of discovery, assurance and support. Scope is shaped by users, data, permissions, integrations, existing software and the consequence of failure. I will tell you what is known, what needs investigating and where a staged approach is sensible instead of hiding uncertainty inside an arbitrary package.
A clear process before a commitment
We start with a conversation about the current process and desired outcome. I then outline the likely approach, key assumptions and sensible next step. During delivery, work is reviewed in controlled stages and relevant checks are run. The aim is a maintainable result with clear ownership, not a surprise invoice or an open-ended dependency.
VAT and getting started
All prices on this page are stated excluding VAT. The right starting point is a free 30-minute consultation about the process you want to improve, who uses it and what is currently getting in the way. I will give you a practical view of the route rather than a generic sales proposal.
Choosing the sensible engagement
Training is the right starting point when your team needs shared confidence and a practical introduction. A build is appropriate when the process is understood but the business needs a dependable system made for it. Monthly support is useful when an active application needs regular improvements, but it is not a prerequisite for commissioning a build. I can also begin with a focused piece of discovery or a small implementation so that a larger commitment is based on evidence. In every case, the scope is discussed before billable work begins and the work is tied back to the outcome you described.
What you are paying for
The rate covers more than typing code into a tool. It includes understanding the requirement, choosing an appropriate technical route, making changes carefully, checking the result and communicating what has changed. For a build, I keep the work tied to the agreed outcome and identify decisions that may affect later stages. For support, the value is responsive context: I already understand the active system and can spend the available time improving it rather than starting from a blank explanation.
Frequently asked questions
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
No. The prices shown are excluding VAT.
What is included in training?
Each training option is a six-hour founder-led session with tailored content, practical exercises and feedback. The exact focus is agreed before the session.
Is the monthly support plan mandatory?
No. It is an optional arrangement for clients who want priority access and ongoing work. You can also commission individual development hours.
When does the £500 hourly rate apply?
It is intended for small, well-defined engineering work such as a feature, integration, investigation or improvement. Larger bespoke applications are scoped around an agreed first stage before work begins.
Can unused monthly time roll over?
Yes. The monthly support terms allow unused time to roll over, and the arrangement can be paused with 30 days' notice.
